High Heat -- Don't be Afraid of the Dark

Here at High Heat, we have learned that running a small business comes with constantly facing the unknown. When building something of substance that has the ability to constructively disrupt there are also those that wish to stop the growth of that something, no matter the cost.

Don’t let those that operate in the darkness scare you from achieving what you know you are capable of. There are more people that will tell you it won’t work rather than try to help make it work. Those same people that tell you it won’t work will also point out your largest pain points, just because they can.

Those people are people you will never want in your corner anyway so feel free to just let them go and don’t look back. Through the action of letting go, you will also find a lot more peace with the same pain points those people were using against you. This action of self-acceptance is what helps with self comfortability and the ability to sustain a stable place within the darkness of tomorrow.

Tomorrow is never promised and there is no way to ensure the success of a small business other than continuously putting in hard work despite the constant stream of unknowns. Facing not only the darkness of the self but also the darkness of what lies ahead is how you can create your own opportunity for your own business efforts that remain in alignment with the foundation of the business itself.

Darkness is nothing more than the absence of light so why not let your light shine?

Join our wave, ride the high, and enjoy the heat.
